In a press release, the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office in upstate New York said that earlier this week, Lisa Waldron and her partner, Anthony Waldron, were arrested on charges related to the death of a 17-year-old boy. The sheriff’s office said that Lisa Waldron was the boy’s mother and Anthony was his stepfather. The arrest announcement comes several months after the 17-year-old boy was found dead in the couple’s home in Palermo, New York....

The woman, identified as Elana by the Atlanta-based news station WXIA-TV, said during an interview with the station that while all other members of her family have been vaccinated against the virus, her parents distrusted the vaccine and did not seek it out. Noreen Wredberg of Granite Bay, California, spied the 4.38-carat yellow diamond sitting on top of the ground. Her find is believed to be the largest diamond spotted in almost a year at Crater of Diamonds State Park, Arkansas.
