Media reports have suggested plans are tentatively in place for a resumption in the middle of June, almost certainly at neutral venues, with the United Kingdom government involved in what has been called ‘Project Restart’....

Total active cases in Italy dropped to 108,237 on Monday, which was 20 cases less than on Sunday. Nearly 700,000 American children faced some sort of abuse or neglect each year, the National Children’s Alliance reported. The NCA also found that younger children were more vulnerable to abuse and neglect and 78 percent of abused children were victimized by a parent. According to an arrest affidavit obtained by KSAT-TV, Eric Jesus Martinez, 30, and Valerie Diaz, 34, allegedly tied the children with zip ties in their San Antonio home and kept them locked up for up to several days at a time....

Neil and Lucy Henderson said their cat Forbes went missing in March 2011 after he left the couple’s home in Aberdeen and never came back. On Wednesday, the House of Representatives passed the American Rescue Plan Act, sending the $1.9 trillion relief package to President Joe Biden for signing.
