Even though there’s some new Silent Hill action coming our way soon as well, fans of the old school, who may be a bit leery of the new hotness due to some of the recent Silent Hill entries, will likely be pleased at being able to tread carefully through the classics. With new Resident Evil titles on the way, as well as a spiritual successor to Fatal Frame coming for the 3DS, and now this collection, perhaps survival horror will make a comeback. Or we’ll just keep chainsawing our way to the finish line. Either way.
The Silent Hill HD Collection is right around the corner, ready to take your head off on the Xbox 360 or PS3.
